There are numerous Tenerife festivals for the year 2023, although in this blog we are going to highlight the most renowned and those which, over the years, have earned prestige among the thousands of Canary Islanders who come every year to enjoy the shows of the hundreds of artists who visit the island. We will go in chronological order, taking into account the Tenerife festivals for the months of July and August. Let the show begin!

Reggaeton Beach Festival. One of the first Tenerife festivals is reggaeton and takes place on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd July in La Laguna. With a 300 square metre stage full of LED screens providing a stunning visual experience, the event will feature a VIP area where you can enjoy exclusive privileges. There will also be an inflatable park, giant slides, swimming pools and a chillout area for you to relax and enjoy to the fullest, as well as food trucks and merchandising stalls.

The first names confirmed for this event in Tenerife are Arcángel, Myke Towers, Justin Quiles, Eladio Carrión, Mora, Blessd and Lyanno.

Ritmos del Mundo Festival. We continue with urban music on Friday 14th and Saturday 15th July, now at the Golf de Costa Adeje, a very popular place in the South of Tenerife to celebrate this kind of summer festivals. The venue will have a wide variety of gastronomic options and differentiated spaces, including two VIP areas. One of these areas will be exclusively for the over 25s and will offer additional services such as bars with waiters, private toilets and privileged views of the stage and the artists.

J Balvin is the headliner of this year’s line-up, with the Argentinean rapper Duki, Saiko from Granada and the Tenerife singer Maikel de la Calle, among others yet to be announced.

Festival Internacional Canarias Jazz & Más. We’re off to Puerto de la Cruz, where the 32nd edition of the most important jazz festival in the Canary Islands will be held from Friday 30 June to Sunday 23 July, with concerts all over the islands.

The 32nd edition of the Festival Internacional Canarias Jazz & Más will fulfil one of its great aspirations by including the Metropole Orkest in its prestigious list of outstanding groups of the genre. This world-renowned musical project is considered by the specialised critics to be the most important pop and rock orchestra in the world.

Culture & Business Pride. Tenerife has established itself as the permanent venue for this outstanding international event, which will celebrate its sixth edition from 23 to 28 July 2023. This event brings together talented LGBT professionals in Tenerife from various sectors such as business, art, innovation and culture. It stands out for its format of participatory conferences that seek to generate in-depth debates and foster synergies, addressing a wide range of topics of great interest, from vindicatory and social aspects to the culture that emerges from the various LGTB sectors.

Undoubtedly, this event is not to be missed and will give you the opportunity to enjoy the company of prominent personalities such as Conchita Wurst, Samantha Hudson, Loreen, Gigi Goode and Drag Vulcano.

Sunblast Festival. We enter August with a bang with the island’s most renowned electronic music festival. Although there are not many Tenerife festivals in August, there are some of the most important ones. The Sunblast takes place on Saturday 12th August at the Golf de Costa Adeje.

With 5 different stages, the Juicy, the Island Boogie, the Main, La Misa and the Bass, this festival has the largest audience in the archipelago and is clearly committed to the innovation of its stages, as well as visual and technical technology. No artists have yet been confirmed.

Phe Festival. We return to Puerto de la Cruz to talk about one of the most important summer festivals of the year in Tenerife, which celebrates its eighth edition on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th August. With confirmed artists from a wide range of genres, such as the rapper Trueno, Orbital, Shinova and Second, the Phe Festival has become an international reference point for music.

But Phe is more than just music. Phe Urban Sports exhibitions, Phe Summer Camp outdoor experiences and workshops, Phe Yoga sessions, the Phe Gallery showcase of emerging artists, along with the Phe Creative days, with special attention this year to wine culture, complete this festival experience.

Before we finish, we have an important reminder for you. In addition to having a good outfit, your best sunglasses and a spectacular look, we know that at summer festivals it is essential to have accommodation that is close and has good facilities, so that the return trip is as pleasant as possible and you can go straight to rest. That’s why Vanilla Garden Boutique Hotel is a great option, as it is located nearby in the south of Tenerife, which hosts the vast majority of Tenerife festivals every year. It’s time to enjoy!
