SOUTH ZONE
Playa de Las Américas
If you are staying with us, the most recommended route leaves from the very door of our hotel. Who doesn’t like to ride a bike a few meters from the beach? This route will take you, through the Avenida Rafael Puig Lluvina, on a coastal tour of the best beaches in the south of Tenerife. You just have to let yourself go, stop when you want to have a drink or look at the landscape, and keep going. After the ride don’t worry about anything, we’ll take care of your bike.
Playa de Las Américas – Adeje – Playa de Las Américas
The more experienced cyclists like this route a little more complicated. It starts from Adeje and goes through Torviscas beach, San Eugenio, Las Américas, Los Cristianos, Siam Mall, Siam Park, Torviscas Alto, Miraverde, Fañabe and finally returning to El Galeón, in Adeje. This is a circular route of about 30km and almost three hours of travel on slopes, curves and inclines. All this through a diverse route, from beautiful and paradisiacal beaches, to ravines and mountains. Do you dare?
Pinares de Vilaflor – Mountain Bike
From a terrain dominated by asphalt we move to the mountain to enjoy a mountain route through one of the most beautiful bike routes in this part of the island. The route covers a large part of the municipality of Vilaflor, one of the highest villages in Spain. You will be inside the Corona Forestal Natural Park and in one of its most emblematic and beautiful pine forests. Just enjoy!
NORTH ZONE
From the south of the island we moved to the north. A privileged area for lovers of this sport and a cycling enclave par excellence. It boasts several of the most entertaining bike rides on Tenerife. But before going up to the heights, a walk through a perfect city for it, Los Realejos.
Rambla de Castro
Leaving the Rambla de Castro you can enjoy a linear walk along the north coast, on a fairly simple route of about 10km and 2 hours. It is an area of protected landscape characterized by its natural beauty in which you will only have to enjoy.
La Caldera – Mountain Bike
If you are more demanding, this route will be a real challenge. This circular route of about 83km begins with a climb towards Pino Alto, until it connects with the Las Palomas reserve. We will climb a slope from La Vica to La Matanza de Acentejo; then we will go through looping paths to Risco Negro and Las Lagunetas, to join later the road to El Teide. On the way back we will pass through the forest of La Esperanza, Tacoronte, La Victoria and El Sauzal. Going through La Orotava and after a road of almost 8 hours, we will finally arrive at the spectacular protected area of Las Palomas.
Many are the cycling or mountain routes that can be made in Tenerife, coupled with the favorable weather conditions make you can practice throughout the year.
